As you may know Disney made a proposal to begin a phased in reopening date of July 11th. Many of you have had questions about current reservations, reservations that will not be cancelled, and 2021. Tonight more information was shared about new temporary procedures.
New Ticket Sales and Hotel Reservations: Currently Disney is not allowing new ticket sales or hotel reservations so they can focus on guests with existing tickets and reservations. Guests with current reservations/tickets will be contacted soon by Disney to provide additional information, options, and refund information (as applicable). New tickets and reservations will resume once the existing is sorted out. Theme park reservations will be limited due to attendance limitations and will be subject to availability.
Park Reservations: We don't have all the details but there will be a new reservation system coming where guests will need to reserve their park days and ADRs. You will have to choose which park you want to visit each day in advance and there will be no park hopping at this time in order for Disney to maintain capacity limitations.
Dining and Experiences: Disney's Dining Plan will not be available for the rest of 2020. For those who currently have the dining plan included will be refunded. If you currently have existing dining reservations, these are going to be cancelled by Disney. We will be able to book new dining and experience reservations at the 60 day mark.
FastPass+: FastPass+ service will be suspended for now as they will use the addition queue space to physical distancing requirements. If you already have FastPass reservations, these will be automatically cancelled.
Extra Magic Hours: Extra Magic Hours will be temporarily suspended.
Face Masks and Temperature Screenings will be required.
Again, this is evolving and I know there will be many more questions we all have. As more information is released, I will share it with all of you!
While I realize some of these temporary changes will be disappointing to those of you with reservations during this time, please remember, Disney has taken their time in making every single decision in the best interest of their guests and employees. Guest and employee safety is their top priority, as it always has been.
Please feel to message us with any questions you may have about future trips. Any currently booked clients, as specific changes affect your reservations we will be reaching out to discuss any specific questions you may have!
